I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you for a lovely meal. My partner and i live in Brisbane and recently decided to have a day out, hire a car and drive to Byron, and have lunch at Fish Heads in Bangalow. As always, it was a great meal. The entrees, mains, desserts, and the wine. My partner had the lamb Shank (which came recommended by the chef),and it was cooked perfectly, as was my Squid. We have always had good food and service and all the staff are always friendly and look after us well. It's never been disappointing. We have both previously worked in hospitality, and know how hard it is, and that customers do complain, but rarely say Thank you...So, "THANK YOU!" Please forward this onto all the staff, as i know it would be appreciated.

Now that we are back in the states I am working on my Australian Ultimate Adventure scrapbook and the "food" page. These menus make me hungry looking at them and especially the one from Fish Heads.
Thank You so much for such fabulous choices on the menu and for accommodating all of us. That was a lot of dishes to wash. The food that night was terrific. We extended our stay in Byron Bay just to have lunch here as the previous night was fully booked and boy was it worth it! The location is near the beach, but surrounded by the car park, which is not so great. In any case, the seafood platter was simply perfect, with the best crab I have ever had. The fish was cooked to perfection. Service was competent. We could not have ask for anything more.

My partner and I (who live in Brisbane) had dinner at your Bryon Bay restaurant on Wednesday 5th January. Both of us enjoying food and being very good cooks, we are usually particular about where and what we eat as we do not want to have a meal that we could have easily prepared ourselves. We had oysters kilpatrick, goats cheese tart, bbq king prawns followed by the mixed grill and seafood spaghetti + dessert.
To say the food was delicious would be an understatement - each meal was a culinary delight in its own right...each mouthful exquisite. I had the seafood spaghetti and the seafood was plentiful and tasty and the sauce light - after each mouthful I would exclaim...'Oh my God'! Presentation of meals, service of staff and general ambience was exceptional. Congratulations and thank you for making our dining experience a very memorable one. We will definitely be back.

We would both like to thank you so much for making our 10th wedding anniversary lunch so special. Your service was wonderful & we really appreciated you making an exception & letting us have that lovely table in the corner. The food was fantastic - great squid & as we said at the time - the best fish & chips ever! Then to top it all off - that desert - it was sensational. We look forward to our next visit to Byron & will definitely be back to see you.
